    Hi Demi,
Because the Hungry Horse has not opened yet, why not try the Cherry Tree (Hungry Horse) London Road , Newcastle Staffordshire ST5 1NZ 01782 712942 and see if they can give you a contact number to apply for jobs.

I have just recently bought one of the houses on the new estate so am looking forward to have a new local. Just hope it doesn’t affect any of the nearby home owners!

    Hi Richard,
We don’t think it will affect homes nearby, and it is one of the upper market food retaurant’s. In fact we feel quite pleased they have moved into the “Pottery Village of Sandyford” and of course it’s bringing jobs to the area along with JCB.

  • Just like to say i have also got a house on the estate ,and i big thanks to,phil taylor who has put the money in the pub.

  • well done just what we wanted.

  • Andy

Why would Phil Taylor put money in the pub, the Hungry Horse chain is a big concern, cant see them needing his money. I also live on the estate, close to the construction site, will be glad when the contractors have gone, sick of the noise and dust, I think the residents should be given a free meal at least for all the disruption.

    Hi Andy,
Not a bad suggestion for the pub to compensate you and other local residents to a free meal at the very least.
The Council’s planning officer is coming to the next Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Public Meeting, Thursday 10th April, 7.30 p.m. Goldenhill Community Hall/Centre so maybe some residents from the estate could ask him at the meeting to see if he could persuade Hungry Horse to do the right thing, you never know unless you ask.
