S.A.G.E. Public Meeting Receives Praise From Local Residents

On Thursday 15.01.15, eighty two people turned up to the Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association Public Meeting at Goldenhill Community Centre.

The meeting attracted speakers from JCB, DHL, Staffordshire Police, Councillor Martin Garner & Stoke on Trent City Councils Housing Team.

The Public Meeting attracted plenty of praise from residents who attended, and their compliments to S.A.G.E. have been graciously accepted by the committee.

An e-mail received via the sandyfordgoldenhill.co.uk website from Alan Colclough, local resident says, “Can I just say to all the people who worked so hard to make this meeting such a good night WELL DONE TO YOU ALL – I have now been the last two meetings and from what I have seen and heard, you are all doing a brill job, and from me 10 out of 10 and may the meetings continue – also to see JCB a top company giving a talk – and telling us their future plans, again well done JCB – from my point of view this can only add value to the goldenhill and tunstall area bringing jobs and much more to the area – Goldenhill will be seen in a different light and not too soon – I have also been to the community Centre and do use the centre – It is a strong and robust one – and many have closed across Stoke on Trent, and with you all putting the work and time in as you do, I as a local resident applaud you all, KEEP IT UP – AND THANKS FROM ME.”
