Stoke on Trent North & Kidsgrove Parliamentary Candidates Discuss Issues with Voters

140 residents and guests attended the Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association Public General Meeting “Hustings” yesterday evening at Goldenhill Community Centre.

The meeting went very well with all candidates giving a report, and receiving questions from residents.

Questions asked to Parliamentary Candidates consisted of what their views are on

  • Budget cuts across Stoke on Trent
  • Educating society re cutting foreign aid budget “how safe would our country be”
  • Immigration
  • NHS
  • Local industries, which we don’t have anymore

All candidates responded to the questions by giving a variety of views, which residents said they found quite interesting.

The Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association (S.A.G.E.) would like to take this opportunity of thanking residents and guests for attending the meeting and making it a most enjoyable one.
