There has been a spate of thefts from vans overnight on Thursday 24th/Friday 25th September across Burslem, Tunstall & Sandyford areas.
Numerous tools have been stolen in the incidents which occurred in Leigh Street, Hamil Road, Lawton Street, Sandy Road, Wignall Road, Irene Avenue and Sunnyside Avenue.
Please warn neighbours to be on their guard and to make sure their vehicles, especially vans, are parked as securely as possible at all times.
It is also advisable, where possible, to empty vehicles of all valuables before leaving them unattended.
