Crash Victim Taken Ill at KFC Roundabout in Sandyford

A driver was taken to hospital earlier today after being taken ill at the wheel of his car.

The incident took place at the KFC roundabout in Sandford after the car crashed into a lampost.

Part of High Street, Sandyford was closed off this morning causing some delays to the morning rush hour.

Paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene before the man was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital.
