Pictures of a frosty Goldenhill show what a lovely part of the city we live in.

Sandyford & Goldenhill have some of the most picturesque countryside in the whole of Staffordshire with lots of interesting walks to go on.

The pictures taken today show plenty of glistening frost on the trees and grass, especially today which is due to it being the highest point in Stoke on Trent as well as usually the coldest, but whose complaining when sharing these lovely scenes with all of our website and Facebook followers.

The pictures taken are on the new public footpath from Mobberley Road, leading down to the old railway line where you can see buildings which used to be the train station, and not forgetting views of Mow Cop Castle and the Church at Newchapel. So why not give some of these local walks a try when taking your regular daily exercise walk.
