The shop management team invited Tom Simpson, Secretary of Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association to do the honours by cutting the ribbon to officially open Sandyford Convenience Store.

Before cutting the ribbon, Tom Simpson talked about One Stop being a retail convenience business with over 900 shops, and their key focus being the best store for customers in the neighbourhood, adding that this includes shoppers here in Sandyford.

Tom talked about the bright new facelift and refit to the Store, which is going to be a boost to customers when visiting the shop and hopefully enjoying a new shopping experience.

The Residents Association Secretary went onto say, why do we need convenience stores, adding just look how its been missed whilst closed; customers trying to get in to buy goods even when the sign says “closed for a refit”. Tom Simpson went onto say, we are all happy its open again and we all need to support local businesses such as Sandyford Convenience Store, “use it or lose it” and we all know what it’s been like not having the shop for two weeks.

On behalf of residents and customers the Residents Association Secretary wished the management team and staff good luck and the very best success with their new Store.
