This years Goldenhill Fun Day is on Saturday 3rd August from 12.00 noon onwards at Goldenhill Community Centre/Village Green Site, and is to be officially opened by Councillor Chandra Kanneganti.

The event has proved extremely successful over the years and attracts a number of events and activities, which includes a 27ft High Climbing Wall, Paul Warwick's Fair Rides, New Vic Theatre "Borderlines" Arts & Craft, Total Wipeout, YMCA GO! Youth Activities, including Circus Skills, Face Painting, Games, Minion Mascot & Balloon Modelling, Goldenhill & Tunstall Scouts Games/Activities, Dance Music Live, Staffordshire Police & Fire Service, Bouncy Castle, Market Street Stalls, public bar, refreshments, and not forgetting the road train, which is offering rides for a £1 around Goldenhill taking in views of rolling countryside, including Mow Cop Castle & Newchapel Church.
