Reported Shots Fired in Sandyford Street

Residents in the Sandyford & Goldenhill area of Stoke on Trent have reported hearing shots fired in a nearby street.

A police helicopter was seen above the skies for well over an hour this afternoon as armed police and police dogs were seen in the area.

Response officers were seen attending Cotton Road in Sandyford as well as Wilson Way, Goldenhill.

Eyewitnesses have further reported to The Sentinel that the police helicopter was also seen over Bathpool Park in Kidsgrove.
