Beware of Daytime Burglaries

It has been reported that Sandyford and Goldenhill has suffered from a couple of burglaries that happened in the area yesterday.

Neighbourhood Watch have reported the following to the S.A.G.E. website.

A JCB STRIMMER (£70-80), KERCHER PRESSURE WASHER (£80),ELECTRIC CHAINSAW (£60), JIGSAW (£80-90) were reported stolen from a garage on RUSSELL PLACE between the hours of 1430hrs and 1745hrs on 20th May. It is believed the offenders smashed the window of the garage in daylight to gain entry.

If you have any information please contact the police on 101, quoting reference 603 of 20th May.

On 20th May, we had a report of a burglary on TAYLOR STREET. Between the hours of 1500hrs on 17th and 0900 on 20th, a key safe was smashed open and used to gain entry. Stolen from the property was a boiler and flue system worth approximately £1200. Also missing is a fitted cooker, hob and radiator.

Any information can be given to the police on 101, quoting incident reference number 177 of 20th May.
