This years Goldenhill Fun Day is on Saturday 4th August from 12.00 noon onwards at Goldenhill Community Centre/Village Green Site, and is to be officially opened by Lisa Hamlett, McDonald's Area Manager.

The event has proved extremely successful over the years and attracts a number of events and activities, which includes a 27ft High Climbing Wall, Paul Warwick's Fair Rides, New Vic Theatre "borderlines" Mask Drama & Puppet Making Workshops, Total Wipeout, City Council Uth Services Games/Activities, including the "Hoppa Bus", Goldenhill & Tunstall Scouts Games/Activities, Dance Music Live, Staffordshire Police & Fire Service, Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Balloon Modelling, Market Street Stalls, public bar, refreshments, and not forgetting the road train, which is offering rides to and from the event and is covering the areas of Sandyford & Goldenhill.
