There has been a rise in the number of Catalytic Converter thefts in the area, the thieves are mainly targeting garage forecourts at night.

The types of vehicles being targeted are generally older models of German vehicles such as VW, BMW and large 4×4 style cars.

It is also recommended that you try not to park your vehicles half on the pavements as this makes it easier for thieves to get under and steal the converters.
