Staffordshire Police have reported that on Monday 18th January at approximately 4pm to 4.30pm, a male described as white, in his 20’s with an Irish accent asked a female if he could buy her dog for £50 on the Park Estate, Burslem.

The male was seen to exit a Ford Transit style van. After being refused, the male was seen to walk in the alleyways, possibly looking into rear yards.

Please be vigilant if you are approached by anyone offering to buy your dog, try to obtain any vehicle registrations and descriptions of persons and please report to 101 or via the digital 101 platforms.
