The Staffordshire Safer Roads Partnership (SSRP) has announced seven routes across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent to be the focus of their annual ‘Ride it Right’ campaign, designed to reduce motorbike casualties.
The campaign features eye-catching yellow ‘Think Bike’ signs on specific routes asking drivers to be more aware of motorbikes, and urging bikers to ride carefully.
The routes, which are updated each year, have been identified by the SSRP as the highest risk based on the analysis of motorcycle collisions.
The routes identified for 2026 are:
A5 Spread Eagle Gailey to Wall Island
A34 Talke Pits to Trent Vale (Stone Road at A500)
A50 Stoke-on-Trent Lichfield Street (Potteries Museum roundabout) to A5007 roundabout
A51 Rugeley to Bowling Green Lichfield
A52 Station Road/Leek Road Stoke (6th form college) to A52 Ash Bank Road
