Stand with Sandyford drop-in at Goldenhill Working Men’s Club with MIND and Citizens Advice North Staffordshire.

For the residents and families affected by the Sandyford fire on Friday 14 August 2026, the road ahead will be a challenging one.
Citizens Advice North Staffordshire and MIND will be at the Goldenhill Working Men’s Club this Thursday morning to offer help and support to anyone who needs it.
MIND offers support and trauma counselling to people who are struggling with their mental health. Citizens Advice North Staffordshire can support with general guidance on insurance matters and how to obtain quotations, advice on financial support to replace damaged goods, and crisis support in the form of food and shopping vouchers.
This will also be an opportunity for residents directly affected to access some of the donated items which have been dropped off at the club.
We hope other local services will also be present on the morning. Please share with people who might require additional support at this time.
