Thank You to Sandyford Fire Fighters @ Public Meeting

Sandyford & Goldenhill residents, as well as people from outside the area are invited to attend the next Sandyford & Goldenhill Public Meeting on Thursday 24th September, 7.30 p.m. Goldenhill Community Centre, Drummond Street/High Street, Goldenhill, ST6 5 LP to show our thanks to Staffordshire Fire & Rescue who will be attending the meeting.

We know 6 of the fire fighters required hospital treatment when attending the Royal Stoke, and the residents association thought it would be only fitting to invite the fire service to the public meeting.

Also, attending the meeting will be David Williams M.P. Councillor Chandra Kanneganti and Staffordshire Police, and the residents association will be pressing the authorities to instate a fire break around the park area where the fire started, so if anything like this happens again, then the risk to what as already happened would be greatly reduced.
