PRIDE IN OUR CITY
We want to make Stoke on Trent an even greater place to live and for people to have pride in our city. With this in mind we will be holding a Respect Day in your area on MONDAY 14th OCTOBER with the aim of making your area a cleaner and safer place for everyone to live, work and play.
UNWANTED RUBBISH?
A free skip service is available for all residents giving you the opportunity to help make the local area tidier. The skips will be available between 9am and 2p.m. and located on:-

If you have bulky household items that you think are too good to put in the skip, ring the Furniture Mine on 01782 846111. They will advise you as to whether they they can take it off your hands, free of charge.
MOST IMPORTANT
Whilst it is your responsibility to take your waste to the skips and load them, there will be a team of volunteers to assist the elderly and infirm with fetching and carrying bulky waste to skips.
When the skips are full they will be removed and not replaced. Under no circumstances must you pile rubbish up at the side of skips.
Anyone who doesn’t follow this guidance and leaves waste in alleyways or on pavements may be liable to prosecution. Environmental Crime Officers will be working in the area. We will not accept: Asbestos, Gas cylinders/bottles, Car batteries, Paint tins (with paint in), Large amounts of rubble, Fluorescent tubes & Tyres.
The SAGE website will publish more exciting news of what is happening on the “Goldenhill Respect Day” next week, so keep watching.
