Stoke on Trent City Council is reporting that it is in the final stages of negotiations with a preferred purchaser who is proposing to turn land at Goldenhill back into a golf course again.
The Council’s Estate Team are hopeful a report can go to the Operational Business Management Meeting this month where a decision can be made for final approval of the scheme.
Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association (S.A.G.E.), along with local residents have been calling out for many year’s for something good to happen to the land, especially when the area has been blighted with off road bikers, fly tipping and Travellers who have regularly visited the site.
