Reporting Crime Online

There is now the option to report “Crime and Antisocial Behaviour” utilising the online Staffordshire Police System, which is available by following the link www.staffordshire.police.uk

The link enables you to report crime, missing person, civil disputes, lost or stolen vehicles, antisocial behaviour, fraud and lost or found property.

There is also the WMP Hate Crime App, which has now been launched. The App forms part of a strategy to make the reporting of hate crime more accessible and to help continue to reduce the reporting gap.

The App is available on both Apple and Android. It consists of a useful guide/book that provides guidance on all aspects of hate crime, there are also different languages available. There is then a reporting section that directly links to our live chat service. It also gives other reporting options.

The App can be accessed via the below I-Tunes or Google Play links or scan the QRs which are on the above attachment.

iTunes =  https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hate-crime-5/id1465069762?ls=1

android = https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.c5consultancy.hatecrime.westmidlands

Members of the public still have the option of using the 101 system with a maximum charge of no more that 15 pence, regardless of the length of the call, although at peak times there can be a wait to speak to an operator.

Staffordshire Police do emphasise that in all emergencies members of the public should call 999.
