Large Attendance at Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association’s Hustings Event Proved a Big Success

Yesterday, (Thursday 28th November) a large attendance of 160 residents and guests came to a meeting held by Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association (SAGE) at Goldenhill Community Centre.

The meeting proved to be lively and generally well behaved on the evening, especially when many issues between the parties to say the least were very controversial.

Candidates attending on the evening were-

Peter Andras – Liberal Democrats

Alan Borgars – Green Party

Matt Dilworth, – Independent

Jonathan Gullis – Conservative

Ruth Smeeth – Labour

Richard Watkin – Brexit Party

All candidates standing to be the next M.P. for Stoke on Trent North gave a good account of themselves, and residents and guests who attended the meeting gave good vibes in respect to the responses they received from candidates at the public meeting “hustings event”.
