Staffordshire Police have reported an increase in the number of catalytic converter thefts across the north of Stoke on Trent.
The police advise the following where possible to keep your vehicle safe.
Park off the road if possible (driveway etc)
Leave your vehicle closer to kerbs or fences
Park in well lit areas
Buy a Catalytic Convertor Clamp
Avoid parking across the pavement and road
Have your Catalytic Convertor marked
Have an approved garage weld the bolts
Improve your home security, where possible
