Stoke in Top 10 Penalty Charge Notices Issued to Drivers

Stoke came in at number 6 in the Top 10 Penalty Charge Notices issued to drivers in Stafford Street Hanley for being one of the most expensive streets outside London.

In 2020/21 2,009 tickets were issued in Hanley’s Stafford Street amounting to a total cost of £75,037, with Manchester’s Stockport Road topping the leader board with 5,258 tickets issued, which cost motorists £193,893.

It’s worth being mindful when times are becoming financially difficult for drivers to be sensible and not to risk receiving a penalty charge.
