Restoration of a Much Loved Memorial Gate

Goldenhill’s War Memorial Gate from the Great War 1918 has been restored by Company Director, Frank Howsley (D&N Shotblasting & Painting Services) who offered their services for free (4th left), and it was officially unveiled today (20.12.22) by Chandra Kanneganti (Goldenhill & Sandyford Ward Councillor) and James Smith (Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association S.A.G.E. Vice Chairman). Stoke on Trent City Council’s Craig Howell, Streetcare & Greenspace Manager also supported the project by contributing money to purchase paint for the memorial.
