Dog Fouling is Unacceptable

Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association is inundated with complaints from residents in respect to the increasing amount of dog fouling on our streets.

The residents association at it’s committee meeting on Tuesday have agreed to start a campaign to address the ongoing problem by irresponsible dog owners allowing their dogs to foul the pavements, parks and public footpaths.

Dog owners allowing their dogs to foul without picking it up if reported can receive a visit from the City Council’s Environmental Crime Officer and also be issued with a “Fixed Penalty Fine”.

To report a person who does not clean up after their dog, you can use the following link https://www.stoke.gov.uk/info/20003/your_council_your_city/591/online_services/4 or you can telephone Stoke on Trent City Council on 01782 234000 option 2.

Dog fouling is an antisocial activity and we encourage all dog owners to do the responsible thing and to clean up after your dog.
