Mc’D-Day Confirmed for Additional Opening Hours at Sandyford McDonald’s

It has been confirmed that Sandyford McDonald’s will be operating additional hours from 11.00 p.m. to 2.00 a.m. at its Sandyford Restaurant from Monday 15th April. The additional hours will mean that customers will be able to use the drive through facility as well as delivery drivers operating from the restaurant.

McDonald’s won its appeal earlier in the year after initially losing its application through objections, which mainly came from nearby residents when it was said the noise issue was the main problem.

The planning inspectorate based in Bristol say a 12-month trial would be appropriate to enable the impacts, and the effectiveness of the decision to be assessed.
