Play equipment & goal posts at Sandyford Park are to be restored by having excess rust removed and a repaint.
The good news with persistence from the resident’s association that confirmation has been received from the Council’s Network Activities Manager to say that a supplier has been chosen to do the work.
The company chosen to refurbish the play equipment is D&N Shotblasting the company who restored the World War 1 Memorial Gate outside Goldenhill Community Centre for free.
As a resident’s association we are pleased D&N Shotblasting have been given the job because they are a company who we believe will do an excellent restoration, and have proved they care about communities, including ours.
The resident’s association has recently been updated that the work to complete the project is due to take place around late spring.
