The Government made a fresh announcement on the petrol and diesel car ban in January this year. It’s committed to no new petrol and diesel cars being sold by 2030, and by 2035 all new cars and vans will need to be 100% zero emissions. This is good news for the UK becoming a zero emissions country, but the ban is just 5 years away, and drivers are concerned about charging infrastructure and the cost of electric vehicles.
