Northstone Builders have contacted Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association and Councillor Kanneganti to remind us that there is only 10 day’s left for residents to respond to the proposed new development at Hollywall Lane, Sandyford.
The consultation period is still open and you can email your views to consultation lead Zoe Ensor zoe@dragonhill.co.uk. You can also visit their website www.hollywalllaneconsultation.co.uk and submit your views on the feedback form.
I oppose this as it’s green belt land ElGood lane and hollywall lane are single track roads, infrastructure won’t cope with an extra 400 houses,800+ cars and approximately 1200 people, Dr full and no way of expanding, schools full, entrance and exit roads are next to schools. There is a motorbike track in use on boathorse rd which if houses were to be built near would cause noise, dust and fine particulates which would impact the houses greatly, I live 1 kilometre away and can clearly hear this event, there are minerals on the land which would need to be mined before anything could be built
I oppose this development. Another possible development is on the cards for Packmoor and Wedgwood Farm Estate. The area cannot lose all this green space. The infrastructure cannot take any more volume of traffic. Even less should Packmoor/Wedgwood Farm get permission. The council should consider using the thousands of empty properties in and around the city and crackdown on absent landlords first instead of decimating our fields full of varied wildlife.
