A lady from Hanley visited this year’s Goldenhill Fun Day on Saturday 2nd August with her two daughters, who said “it was the best day they’d ever had“, adding they were entertained from start to finish. It was a lovely day and well done to everyone involved.
Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association have held the Goldenhill Fun Day since it first started in 2007. The day attracts visitors not only from Sandyford & Goldenhill, but also from other parts of the city.
Preparing for the annual fun day starts as soon as the New Year begins, although a demanding project to organise, it is well worth it when seeing the happy smiling faces of the children, along with their parents and grandparents.
