Tonight, Wednesday 19th November the High Street roadworks have been cancelled, which means the High Street from Tunstall’s Haymarket to Goldenhill’s Woodstock Street/Kidsgrove Road will be fully open to traffic.
The contractor has advised that an update will be provided tomorrow in regards to whether work will continue between Sandyford’s KFC roundabout to Goldenhill’s Woodstock Street/Kidsgrove Road (Thursday 20th November, 8.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m.)
The contractor has informed the resident’s association due to a drop in temperature, which prevents the laying of tarmac that some of the work may have to be deferred until the end of next week.
