Sandyford’s Christmas Tree Light Switch On

Sandyford’s “Christmas Tree Light Switch On” by Councillor Chandra Kanneganti will take place at the B.P. Service Station, next to the KFC roundabout (Sandyford) on Friday 5th December at 4.30 p.m.

Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association (SAGE) contacted the Kay Group to see if they could add some Christmas festivity to the area by erecting a Christmas tree, which they kindly agreed to do. The 20ft high tree will be visible from all directions due to the service station being located in a prominent position, and the company thought this would be a good contribution to Sandyford, especially at this time of year.

The Kay Group, Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association and Councillor Kanneganti would like to take this opportunity of inviting as many people to come to the official Christmas Tree Light Switch On, which the councillor has arranged for FREE chocolates and sweets to be made available out of his Ward Budget for children who attend the event, and not forgetting the occasional chocolate or sweet for visiting parents and grandparents.

We would like to say a special big thank you to the Kay Group because they were never under any obligation to erect this spectacular Christmas tree, which they said they were pleased to do for local residents and motorists who drive through Sandyford.
