A resident of Garbett Street, Goldenhill returned home at 6:30pm last night, Monday 25 July to discover two males trying to steal the caravan from their drive.
The males were described as having Irish type accents, one was aged about 22 and wearing a cap, the other was aged about 40 and wearing dark clothing.
The males made off up the High Street towards Kidsgrove in a green coloured 4×4 vehicle.
Anyone who was in the area at the time, and who may have seen anything suspicious, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 739 of 25 July.
