Caught on Camera

A dangerous driver and passenger on Thursday evening were caught on camera running away from an accident after driving on the wrong side of Reginald Mitchell Way leading into nearby Sandyford.

It was reported the bronze Ford Focus, which was stolen in a burglary in Hanley collided with three other cars, with an off duty police officer having to be cut from his vehicle due to the severity of the accident. The man along with other people who were injured in their vehicles were taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital.

The stolen car occupants were witnessed laughing when they started to run away from the mayhem they had caused, which adds to the frustration of why these people must be caught.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101, referring to 804 of August 17 or you can phone crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
