CATastrophe Rescue

Today Sandyford Fire Station were called out to save a cat which found itself stuck at the top of a fragile bendy tree; where it was unable to jump down to safety.

As we know this is the other side of Staffordshire Fire & Rescue, instead of putting out fires they were there to help save one of our feeline friends who was in distress near to the “Tin Tunnel” just off James Brindley Way, Sandyford.

Fire fighters firstly tried to collect the cat by using a ladder, but eventually they succeeded the safe collection of the cat by bending the tree, which enabled it to fall into the arms of it’s heroine.
