Children at Goldenhill Primary Shcool are playing Mother to six baby chick’s after they were hatched in their classroom.
The children have been responsible for feeding and watering their feathered friends along with a guinea fowl, which has recently been born at the school.
Teacher Gail Williams said the children have been using the baby chick theme to inspire their learning as in painting and writing letters to the chicks mother.
The Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association have said they believe this is a great project for children to learn from and are very proud of the pupils, teacher and school for contributing to such an educating idea.
