Emma Bridgwater claim to make the best earthenware in Stoke, they don’t make any of their ware abroad and over 300 people work across the Company. They are a company which is continuing to grow and have exciting plans for the future, therefore they wish to recruit the following Apprentices to help drive the business forward:
Sponge Decorating – decorating pottery with Emma’s design, using a sponge or brush
Lithographing – decorating pottery with a transfer
Sponge Fettling – the process of smoothing clay products with a sponge or fettling knife
Casting – the making of the core product into moulds, using liquid clay (slip)
All the roles will be supported by on the job Apprenticeship training through Axia Training. They pay the National Apprenticeship Wage, with regular reviews, and can offer 33 days holiday per year. If you are interested in the above positions please apply in writing to:-
