Costa Coffee Coming To Sandyford

Costa CoffeeA drve-thru Costa Coffee is coming into Sandyford at the roundabout junction of High Street/James Brindley Way where the A50 and A527 come together.

New developments in the area are making Sandyford a more desirable place to live and work, especially with it’s good road links to the A500 “D-Road” and M6 Motorway as well as easy access to the rest of the city.

It is further reported there is to be a Subway and Convenience Store at the location, which will provide both full and part time jobs most likely from the nearby locality.

Further reports state that significant pedestrian improvements will be put in place to ensure residents safety is paramount when carrying out their shopping and other business.

    “Grab a coffee on the way to work” somebody said in the Sentinel.

    And if everybody has the same idea it will be traffic mayhem every morning in Sandyford.

    What a stupid decision by the council to let this go ahead.
