Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association has been made aware of shipping containers appearing on Goldenhill Village Green.
After investigations made by the residents association, they have been advised the containers are at the location because of roof repairs being made to nearby bungalows by Stoke on Trent City Council, which is expected to take six months to do the work.
Residents have shared concerns in regards to what is happening on a precious piece of land, and what effect this will have on the lawned area once the containers are removed. It has further been mentioned that it might have been helpful if the council had have reported the activity to the Ward Councillor and residents association so people were aware of the situation beforehand.
