Job Vacancy, Outpatient Receptionist (Part Time) £18,870 – £19,918 a year

We are responsible for providing outpatient reception services across the Trust with a team of committed and professional staff. These are very busy areas & provide a focal point for receiving patients, visitors & staff to the hospital. You would be joining a dedicated administrative team that supports patient care within the clinical outpatient environment. The role is essential in capturing clinical activity data on a daily basis to ensure the Trust receives the appropriate financial income.

You will be required to have a good level of education and have experience in administration & clerical duties with good keyboard skills. The successful post holders will be expected to cover colleagues in times of sickness & annual leave. Full training will be given on IT systems.

You will need to be able to work in a calm, logical & methodical way but be able to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions & you must possess effective communication skills.

You should have proven customer care skills or worked in a customer care focused environment. Previous experience in a healthcare setting would be an advantage. We are looking to appoint a cheerful & motivated person with great interpersonal skills & a commitment to customer service to work as an Outpatient Receptionist within the outpatient areas at the Royal Stoke Hospital.
