Patients now eligible to book via National Booking System online or 119 who are:
- aged 65 or over
- pregnant
- those at high risk due to a health condition
- those at high risk because of a weakened immune system
- those who live with someone who has a weakened immune system
- carers
- a frontline health and social care worker
Flu vaccines (Goldenhill patient only – can be booked via the NHS app or by phoning the surgery). We will also in the process of sending out text to allow them to book via a link
Age 65 and over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2023)
18- 64 with certain health conditions as listed
· are pregnant
· are in long-stay residential care
· receive a carer’s allowance, or are the main carer for an older or disabled person who may be at risk if you get sick (evidence of carers allowance need to be shown)
· live with someone who is more likely to get a severe infection due to a weakened immune system, such as someone living with HIV, someone who has had a transplant, or is having certain treatments for cancer, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis
· have diabetes, COPD
· have a history of a heart condition or stroke
· are frontline health workers
· are social care workers who cannot get the vaccine through an occupational health scheme at work
Children age 2-3 – but please await a text prior to booking as these will be specific clinics for children
We have been informed that patients aged 50 – 64 not in the above category will be invited late October and we can not vaccinate until we have been given further guidance
