The Commissioner’s Independent Scrutiny Panels are looking for a diverse group of people to scrutinise Police powers including the use of stop & search, strip search and powers within custody.

Volunteers will help interrogate information and body worn video to identify issues and be involved in suggesting solutions.

Eyesore containers at a local tyre business on Goldenhill High Street have now been removed, which is much to the delight of local residents.

‘Thundery showers’ are set to rock Stoke-on-Trent today. Rumbles of thunder are forecast between 11am and 1pm and then 2pm and 5pm today 07.06.25.
