On Saturday 6th April in Goldenhill, starting at 10am, LoveStoke are hosting a project to paint the play area off Rodgers Street, nominated by Stoke-on-Trent City Council who have also provided some of the materials. 
The paint is flaking off everywhere and the play area is barely usable in its current state, so this will be of great benefit to the local families in the area!
We have received a great response from volunteers including from the local community and now have over 50 signed up! Goldenhill & Tunstall Scouts are supporting the event and will also be providing refreshments on the day, whilst Martin Garner, Labour City Councillor for Goldenhill & Sandyford Ward, has also volunteered his painting skills and some financial support for materials.
We are really looking forward to partnering with those in the local area in achieving this transformation; it will be great fun and everyone involved will have a real sense of achievement when this facility has a new lease of life!
