For the next Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Public Meeting being held on Thursday 16th September, we have agreed the attendance of Jonathan Gullis M.P. for Stoke on Trent North, Councillor Chandra Kanneganti and Staffordshire Police.
This is the first Public Meeting since November 2019 due to COVID restrictions so everyone is welcome to attend on the evening, and you will be able to enjoy free food as well as being entered into our FREE PRIZE DRAW!
Please note the public bar will also be open.
What has happened with the bottle of whisky there always used to be as a raffle prize? Its the one that everybody always wanted to win. Has it stopped?
Hi John,
Unfortunately it has, sorry, but we have to rely on donations which is the only way we can get good prizes.
I don’t know if you have seen the prizes Wickes have donated, but if they were a food & drink business, I am sure we would have had at least 6 bottles of spirit.
Anyway, hope to see you there next week,
Tom.
Will have to see if I am working.
My mother inlaw who always comes to the resident meeting says that the whisky was always bought by clr. Martin Gardner so you will have to ask Kanergantti if he will start bringing it. He ought to as he is not short of a bob or too.
Yes, you are right Councillor Garner did donate the whisky, we will have to see if Councillor Kanneganti picks up on this when he visits the SAGE website.
Anyway, nice talking to you and lets hope you are free next Thursday.
Thanks for getting in touch, Tom.
