Staffordshire Police warn residents to be aware of fraud scammers which is on the increase during the Christmas period.
Be suspicious of all “too be good to be true offers and deals”
Never send money to someone you don’t know.
Never give banking details or personal information to someone you don’t know.
Always log onto a website directly rather than clicking on email links.
If you think you have been scammed contact your bank, you can find the number on the back of your debit card.
