Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association has vacancies for people to join it’s team. The group meets up once a month at Goldenhill Community Centre to discuss how to better the environment we live in.
The residents group started back in 1999, and we have achieved many things to improve our area. Recently we started a community speedwatch group to help slow down vehicles travelling on our roads, made the council listen to our objectives to spend thousands of pounds to replace more trees in the area as well as restoring a much loved First World War Memorial Gate outside Goldenhill Community Centre. As a residents group, it goes to show not only do we listen to residents views but we also act upon them as well.
