Hello folks, just a few words to let you know that I am still alive and kicking.

It's been while since I last made a live comment so I would like to thank you all for reading my articles and for the feedback I receive.

A couple of weeks ago The Sentinel published my Schooldays article which has already featured here and included a few photos with it.

The response was amazing, I received lots of e mails from people I haven't seen for years.

They include, Irene and Margaret who lived in Alice Steet and Charlotte Street they remembered me and my family, Malcom who was a couple of years later than me at school and Alan who was at Church School with me for three years.

Stuart, who was a " club man " on Goldenhill for years and we also worked together on the insurance.

The icing on the cake was an e mail from Mrs Woodcock who thanked me for mentioning her husband our old Geography teacher and the sign over his door that said, MANNERS MAKETH MAN AND WOMAN.

Three weeks ago the good folk of Goldenhill came to Llandudno on a coach trip, big sister was on board so we got to spend a fews hours together.

When we went back to the coach station there was a few more old friends there so the memories were flying thick and fast.

Today we were in Asda and Ann, another old friend who is here on holiday spotted me and commented on the article saying how much she enjoyed it.

An old friend Ron is coming here soon for a holiday so we are arranging to meet for a drink to mull over old times.

It is really nice to know that people enjoy my ramblings and that it brings back good memories, Tom has a few pages in reserve yet so when he has exhausted them I will put a few more into the system.

Regards

David Wood
