In conjunction with S.A.G.E. the Workers Educational Association (WEA) is arranging free Keep Fit Gym Classes for the over 50s. The course is for 10 weeks on a Tuesday between 1.30 p.m. & 3.00 p.m. starting on Tuesday 11th January. Free health check assessments will also be offered at the beginning and end of the course. The venue will be at Sandyford Fire Station, Marlborough Way, Sandyford. There are 20 free places available and to book yourself onto the course then tel the WEA on 01782 831911.
That seems a little ageist isn’t it? Why only over 50’s, I would love to be fitter and can’t afford the expense of a gym.
Hi Matt. The funding is only for those 50 or over so we need to use what money is available. Anyway you’re too busy to go to the gym ha! ha!
